Dancing Like The Stars

 Dancing Like The Stars Performance

So we had a dance teacher who will practice our dance for dancing like the stars name Sandy. She is very funny and had a lot of cool geographies in our dance and our dance type is like Jaz. We practiced for a term (Kind of). So on Tuesday Week 9, we went to Whakamanawa at 4 o'clock to prepare. Sadly, we came last, and Mr. Wilkinson recorded us dancing.

Here is the video:

What I Learned in Uru Manuka

In my literacy class, we have been doing a Student Summit called Uru Manuka, there are links where we can go to a google meet to learn how to use Biteable, Scratch Jr, and more! Some students from other schools present their screen and other participants have to mute their selves. It was very fun learning these apps cause we tried using it.

My Shadow By Robert Louis Stevenson

The Connections I made to the title is that you have no friends but just your shadow.

The pattern of the poem is AABB in all stanzas.

There are four stanzas and 4 sentences.

I feel like you have a shadow and it's your friend that copies everything you do.

I have found "I have a little shadow that goes in and out with me" and "I see him jump before me" and they are both personifications (I can't find any more poetic devices sorry).

I think this poem is all about your shadow of what it does and everybody has a shadow more than one.My Shadow by Robert Louis Stevenson | Kids poems, Funny poems, Poetry for kids

What I learnt About Science

So my class had this quiz about Materials

We also learned was that states of matter, the 3 types of things are Solid, Liquid, and Gas. The particles of Solid are very organized and they cannot move but just stays still. The particles of Liquid are they are separated and they can move freely but the particles of gas are kind of the same as a liquid but way more movement then the liquid cause they can move freely but way crazier.

What I also learned is that gas can weigh anything inside and they can change the shape by itself when it's in a container just like liquid and gas can be squashed. we saw a video to see the answer during the quiz. Now I learned that Solids can change shape on their own when you squeeze, heat, and when we tear them apart.

these are the particles in solid
