My Summer Learning Journey Christmas Decoration 2021

 My Summer Learning Journey

Today I have been working on my Summer Learning Journey 2021 and I have chosen to make an image that represents my family for Christmas. It is like an image of a person that sticks on your Christmas ball-ball to hang up on your Christmas Tree.

This is a bunny and I am going to get two after my construction when the Pagoda is done. We are going to have 2 bunnies name Clue and Milo. The grey one will be Clue and the brown one will be Milo. The reason why I chose to add only Milo is that I'm the one responsible to take good care of him and make him part of the family.

REFLECTION: I think this is a very cute photo and this will remind me of Milo and I am sure I would be very happy to have him as my own he is very cute!

StepsWeb Update Review

 StepsWeb Update

Let's be honest here so today I am going to think about the update today.

I really love the update in StepsWeb it is so creative and still needs a while to get used to it.

 

But there is one problem with the update but I don't know if it actually is happening. Let's take a look at my course, shall we?

Can you see my course level? It seems that I am stuck on it. Let me explain for you to understand a bit more.

I finished all the StepsWeb courses which allowed me to go to every course that I want. So I was on Level A for some reason and then until the update came. Looks like I can't go back to my levels. And I have a rumbly stomach feeling that if I go back to the level 6 course, it will restart my results!

Every update is incredibly beautiful but I need to go to any course I want again!

Prototec Time Part 2

Today I have been practicing my maths on stage 5 again during Numeracy with Miss Waho and here are my marks from prototec.

REFLECTION: I think I have learned from my mistakes and promise that I will do better than usual. Next time I should be faster and re-check my answers.

Today we had a set amount of time to complete a Prototec Basic Facts session.  We then all had to stop, take a screenshot, and post this to our blogs so we could share how we went.

We had 6 minutes to work and then had to stop.

Holiday Writing

In the first week in term 4, I was learning on creating a slide to say what I did on the holidays! So this is my slide and I hope you liked my holiday.

REFLECTION: I think this is nice to tell what you did in the holidays. Maybe next time I should add some paragraphs and when I learn to crochet I don't say it's just fun and add some pictures on the side.

Today during Literacy I have been learning a persuasive text about our favourite Movie/TV Shows/TV Series. And I have chosen The Bake Squad. If you want to watch it, It is available on Netflix.

REFLECTION: I think this text can tell them that they should watch The Bake Squad and maybe next time I should add more detail and more persuasive tools.

Today on Thursday it was book character day and I didn't know why until it was for the read-a-thon. It was very fun and everybody gets to dress up as a book character. I was dressed up as Martha in my favourite chapter book called "Seven Clues To home".

I think it's very fun and I hope that everybody enjoyed wearing book characters and reading lots of books. Maybe next time I can dress up as a famous book character.

Google Summit Of What I have learned

 Google Summit

Today I have gone to Hornby Primary School for the Google summit and only Miss Raisin's Literacy class gets to go if their notice has been signed. A Google summit is where other schools get to learn some websites like coding.

What are the things I learnt was Codey Rocky, Coggle, Animaker, and Scratch (Not Scratch Jr) I can tell you one of the coding websites all about it. Coggle is about writing some notes like brainstorm writings. You can write about some other types of species animals or food.

Here is my Example.

REFLECTION: I think people can learn about these coding websites and I can use them for my learning and for my free time at home. I can show others how these learning objects are useful and can help you code way better.

This week during literacy we have been writing information reports of New Zealand native birds so I chose Fantails.

I think that Fantails can be nice to others and I think that children might want to have a pet bird like a fantail or something but I never knew that their fanned tail can help them catch insects.

So Cat was hungry and Fish was not ready to get eaten I mean Fish wants to stay alive. And never Gave up and just kept running until Cat felt tired and left Fish alone.

This week our Values are Celebrating With Others.

 Celebrating with Others means having fun and cheering others by playing fair but when you come to celebrate something like a party or a birthday you always have to have a greeting with a nice tone and a big smile to get your day started. When the party starts make sure everyone has no arguments, playing by the rules even playing fairly that's why it's important to have fun and celebrate with others.

Celebrating with others is also Congratulating others to make them feel happy and making their mood change for the better like they say that their day has been the best because when lots of people cheered for them that makes them have more fun as they hear their name in a positive way as they have no fights or problems!

A community is a group of people living in the same area as people work for their community to be bigger and stronger as people live in a place of the world and they support each other and help others just to keep their community safe.

Thriving Communities Have Active Members, Each With Roles And Responsibilities.

Members mean the people included in a type of group that is part of.

Roles mean having their jobs that they're responsible for doing for their own community say if you're a police officer it's your role to make sure that everyone is safe.

Responsibilities mean you have things you must do that are for your own good like it's your responsibility to clean up.

On Tuesday we were planning on our goals to achieve by the end/of term 2.

My Reading goal is to learn how to pronounce hard words in a dictionary or in chapter books and read books that have hard words.

My Writing goal is to learn to spell words that I spelt wrong in essential spelling lists and learn to write neatly.

My Math goal is to learn to practice skip count on 3's and learn 3 multiplication without using my fingers.

My Other goals to achieve is to fix my grammar and during fitness, I should be able to be fit enough and start by doing laps in the senior court and achieve my high score.

Especially if an adult asks you to do something so make sure you follow an adult's instructions so you'll be ahead.

I have been following an adult's instruction by finishing my work during Literacy and Numeracy and Homebase time.

I refused to do the right thing at the right time by playing games on my device when I'm not supposed to (I actually have not done that)
